An exceptional opportunity to acquire two shares in Limpopo-Lipadi Game and Wilderness Reserve, one of Botswana’s premier private wildlife and wilderness destinations.

Located in the spectacular Tuli Block of eastern Botswana, Limpopo-Lipadi is a shareholder-owned conservation reserve situated along the Limpopo River. The reserve encompasses approximately 20,712 hectares of diverse wilderness, where conservation, responsible wildlife management and sustainability are at the heart of its operation.

The reserve operates under a strict no-hunting policy and is committed to restoring and protecting the natural environment through habitat management, wildlife conservation and the reintroduction of important species, including southern white rhino and African wild dog.

Shareholders have the right to visit the reserve and participate in the ownership community, including voting on matters presented at Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings.

Shareholders may visit the reserve throughout the year, subject to the reserve’s Constitution, Wilderness Protocol and applicable Botswana regulations. Non-residents are limited to stays of 90 days per calendar year.

During visits, shareholders have access to accommodation at the reserve’s seven lodges, subject to availability.

River Camp:
The camp comprises seven two- and three-bedroom lodges, each featuring its own communal living area and kitchen.

A central common area between Units 3 and 4 provides a bar, dining area, swimming pool and attractive viewing deck overlooking the Limpopo River. Wi-Fi is also available at the camp.

The official reserve website describes the lodges as being positioned along the Limpopo River, offering an immersive bush experience with access to game drives, walking activities, viewing hides, bush dinners and other wilderness experiences.

Wildlife & Wilderness:
Limpopo-Lipadi offers an extraordinary diversity of wildlife and habitats, ranging from riverine environments and open savannah to bushveld and rocky areas. The September 2023 game census recorded, among others:

– 248 blue wildebeest
– 316 zebra
– 1,467 impala
– 46 kudu
– 41 eland
– 3 gemsbok
– 1 waterbuck
– 16 warthog
– 3 lions
– 21 African wild dogs
– An estimated 40 leopards

The reserve is also home to species including white rhino, brown and spotted hyena, caracal, African wild cat, bush pig, civet, klipspringer, porcupine, steenbok and numerous other species. Hippo, crocodile and a variety of fish species occur along the Limpopo River.

The birdlife is equally impressive, with more than 250 species recorded, supported by the reserve’s varied habitats and its position along important migration routes. Limpopo-Lipadi also participates in conservation initiatives including BirdLife Botswana and the Vulture Safe Zone Initiative.

Game Viewing & Safari Facilities:
The reserve operates a fleet of five game-viewing vehicles, available for game drives with experienced guides. Shareholders can also make use of the vehicles on a mileage basis.

Subject to successfully completing the reserve’s off-road driving assessment, shareholders may also self-drive, providing an added level of freedom and flexibility when exploring the reserve.

A 1,200-metre airstrip is located on the reserve, providing convenient access for light aircraft. The reserve’s published access information confirms the 1,200 m runway and also highlights air-transfer options from Botswana and neighbouring countries.

Conservation & Security:
Conservation is fundamental to the Limpopo-Lipadi philosophy. The reserve has implemented habitat restoration, veld management, wildlife monitoring and species reintroduction programmes, with a particular focus on threatened species such as rhino and African wild dog.

Wildlife protection is supported by a dedicated Anti-Poaching Unit, together with Botswana Defence Force personnel permanently stationed at the reserve, providing an additional layer of security and wildlife protection.

An Exceptional Tuli Block Location:
The Tuli Block is one of Botswana’s most distinctive wilderness regions, positioned between South Africa and Zimbabwe and renowned for its dramatic landscapes, ancient baobabs, rocky outcrops and the Limpopo and Shashe Rivers.
