25 hectares in a beautiful and wild part of Northern Botswana.
Property Detail
Property Description
159 000-00 US DOLLARS
An ideal place for a lodge or camp, the plots and its surrounding are untamed and undeveloped, pure African bush. Wildlife roams freely throughout the area in large numbers.
The land is located along the Linyanti River, which forms the border between Botswana and Namibia, in the Chobe Enclave region. The nearest village is Parakarungu which is approximately 10 kms away.
There are two adjoining plots of 12.5 hectares each. The northern side, closer to the river, is open savannah style with rich soil and grassland, while the bush becomes progressively thicker towards the southern side. Here there are large trees including baobabs and acacias, natural openings and scrub vegetation typical of the area.
There is one large natural (seasonal) waterhole and other smaller ones around.
The area is frequented by large herds of buffalo and elephant. Giraffes, zebras, kudus, impalas and other grazers are also present. Predators move seasonally through the area following migrating herds. There are a number of rare and nocturnal animals around as well (see camera trap photos). Installing a bore hole and supplying a permanent waterhole will quickly transform the area into a wildlife haven.
Access to the site is by tarred road from Kasane to Kachikau, then grated road to Parakarungu. The final 10 kms from Parakarungu are on sandy (easy) off-road tracks.
Linyanti (Chobe National Park) is 30 kms away. The road following the river to Linyanti is mostly unexplored, and the owner can be the first to exploit the ample game drive possibilities in this region. Savuti is approximately 2 hours away, while Ngoma Gate (Chobe riverfront section) is about an hour and a half.
Both properties come with title deeds.
The sale will be by transfer of 100% shares of this company.
This beautiful property is a rare find and a true piece of wild Botswana!
